Fundación Las Edades del Hombre

The Monastery of Santa María de Valbuena, located in the town of San Bernardo (Valladolid), has been the permanent headquarters of the Las Edades del Hombre Foundation since 2002.

Today, the Monastery, located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, is one of the best preserved Cistercian architectural complexes in Europe and is open to visitors. During the tour you can see the medieval rooms, composed of a kitchen, refectory and work room; its beautiful cloister articulated in two heights and the monumental Church with the Chapel of San Pedro.
